My first donation!

I recently received a $50 donation from my Godmother! She was so happy about my trip, and was happy to donate. I'm getting more and more excited, and I hope to be receiving more donations soon!

Good news!

As an update, I have some exciting news! I recently found out that one of my good friends from school is going to be travelling with me to Germany! I'm very excited for her, and for everyone else going on the trip. Therefore, if you want to help contribute to her cause, you can send a check to His House Foundation.


Also, as more good news, I found out that whatever donations I don't receive, I will get from a family friend. He and his family have offered to help me out! I feel so unbelievably blessed and I'm even more excited to go! I hope to be bringing your more news of donations soon!

The final decision

About a week ago, I  received a call that I was accepted to go on the Germany trip. I was driving when I got the call, so I listened to the message when I got home and I was so excited! This has been a long hard process in making the decision to go on this trip, so getting that call made the struggle officially over. So there it is... I'M GOING TO GERMANY!!!

I still don't think it's officially hit me yet, but it's happening. I sent out my first batch of fundraising letters yesterday so we'll see if that yields anything. I've also been making connections with my church at home to see if there's any way I can get money that way. So hopefully now this will happen. Please pray for me and my team as we begin to raise money for this exciting trip.

News from the church!

Today I got some exciting news, the church received my application and they're going to announce the teams in 10 days! Hopefully I'll have some good news to share! For now, I decided to post a map of where I'll be going.

My call ...

For the past few months I have been really feeling a pull from God to do His work. Recently I have been presented with the opportunity to go to Rostock, Germany. I would be able to work with kids which is part of the dream for my future, plus I would be able to teach them about our wonderful God.

As a future teacher I am very excited to have been presented with an opportunity to work with them in another country. I am excited to bring to life my favorite Bible verse, Matthew 28:19. I hope to file my paperwork soon and get the process moving. I'll be sure to keep you updated!
